As well as supporting clients through the planning application process, KTC offer services post application such as those that fulfil conditions set out in Section 106 Agreements such as the Travel Plan Co-ordinator role.

The Hillside Gardens development to the northeast of Exeter comprises 430 new dwellings with around a further 100 existing dwellings forming the larger Hillside Gardens development. KTC has been employed by Barratt David Wilson Homes to undertake the Travel Plan Coordinator (TPC) role.

The TPC is responsible for implementing travel plan measures encouraging residents to travel sustainably with the aim of increasing travel by active modes and by public transport. The TPC is also available for residents to contact him with any travel questions they may have.

KTC developed branding for the Travel Plan. ‘Go Pinhoe’ has been developed as a recognisable logo for use throughout the life of the Travel Plan.

A welcome pack containing travel information is provided to the new residents when they move into their new house. A specific travel website has also been constructed by KTC. Take a look at http://go-pinhoe.info/

KTC continue to undertake the TPC role managing travel vouchers and providing travel information. KTC also coordinate the required annual monitoring surveys including resident surveys, and prepare the annual monitoring submitting to the LPA.
