Redcliff Quarter Phase 2
Bristol

  • Redcliff Quarter

KTC first worked on proposals to redevelop the redundant and derelict industrial buildings between Redcliff Street, Three Queens Lane and St Thomas Street in 2007.  This culminated in a planning consent in 2010 for mixed use office led development but the scheme stalled as a result of the recession.  KTC was therefore delighted to be invited in 2015 to join the team established by the new joint venture developers, Change Real Estate, Cannon Family Office and ICG Longbrow, for the Phase 2 development.  The planning application for the £180m, 600,000 sq ft mixed use development was submitted to Bristol City Council in April 2016 and includes KTC’s Transport Assessment and Travel Plan.  A significant aspect of the scheme is to change the adjoining wide, traffic dominated roads into attractive city centre streets, providing enhanced facilities for pedestrians and cyclists.  KTC was actively involved with developing the street layout working closely with architects LSH, landscape architects HED and planning consultants GVA.

Planning consent for the scheme, including a 22-storey residential tower, was granted in November 2016.  For more information, contact Peter Mansell at peter.mansell@key-transport.com.
